Brand Fit Scorecard
A good location for one brand can be wrong for another. Describe your brand once, then pick the South Florida zone you'd most like to be in and see how well it fits: format, trade area and customers, from ClearBuild's zone data and U.S. Census numbers. Have a specific address instead? Score that. Every point shows its reason, and anything we can't check is left out of the score instead of guessed.
1 Your brand
Format
Trade area
Customer neighborhood (census tract)
2 Where do you want to open?
Add your brand name above and ClearBuild will rank the zones for it.
ClearBuild scored all 12 South Florida zones against your brand criteria above, using the zone data it has: Census income, parking ease and the anchors in each zone. Pick the zone you'd most like to be in. Your Brand Fit score is for that zone.
How the Brand Fit score works
- You set the criteria. Each has an importance: must-have and high count 3 points, medium 2, low 1. "Don't score" leaves it out.
- Each criterion passes, partly passes or fails. A near miss (for example, size within 15% of your range, or income within 15%) earns half credit.
- Unknowns stay out. The score is points earned over points we could check, and coverage tells you how much we could check.
- Must-haves are flagged. A failed must-have is called out separately, whatever the overall score.
- Neighborhood data is public. Customer criteria use U.S. Census Bureau American Community Survey 2020–2024 5-year estimates for the site's census tract.
