ClearBuild Privacy Policy

ClearBuild collects information needed to operate accounts, save projects, provide requested research and maintain security. We may process account information, project information, your answers in ClearBuild tools and technical information, depending on the service you use.

Private project information

Your workspace and private project details are intended to remain private except where you direct ClearBuild to share information, a service requires disclosure, or disclosure is required by law.

Helping improve ClearBuild

If you allow it in your settings, combined, name-free answers (such as brand, area and project type) help improve ClearBuild for everyone, always in line with applicable law. Your private notes and customer details are never used this way.

Third parties

ClearBuild may rely on hosting, authentication, AI, mapping, public-record, analytics and other service providers. Those providers may have separate terms and privacy practices.

Security and retention

ClearBuild uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards. Information may be retained when reasonably necessary for service operation, security, legal compliance, auditability, backups and dispute resolution.

Community forum

Forum posts and replies are public, under your screen name. ClearBuild never shows your email. You can report a post or reply and block another member from within the forum.

My Day: Plate, Wallet and prices

Members can keep a private food log with calorie and macro goals (Plate) and a spending diary with a daily budget (Wallet). This information is visible only to you when you are signed in. It is not shown to brands, franchisors, franchisees or other members, it is not used for ClearBuild learning or analytics, and it is deleted when you delete your account. Plate is a personal log, not medical or dietary advice. A calorie cap you enter in Decide is used for that view only and is not saved. If you report a price you paid, only the brand, item, size, price, area and date are kept, without your name; reported prices are shown only in combined form once at least five different members have reported, and those name-free reports remain after account deletion.

Area alerts

If you ask ClearBuild to watch an area for you, we keep your email with the answers you tapped (such as county and business type) and use them only to email you about that area, at most once a month. We never share or sell your email. Reply to any alert, or write to rohanedavidson@clearbuild.site, to stop.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, from the Community page (Delete my account). Deleting removes your sign-in, profile, forum posts and replies, perks, saved details, and your name and email. If you had allowed learning, only combined, name-free answers (such as brand, area and project type) are kept; they are stripped of names, addresses, notes and your account link and cannot be traced back to you. If you had not allowed learning, those answers are deleted too. Backups may hold copies for a limited time.

Your choices

Where available, you can manage quick questions, whether your answers help improve ClearBuild, and answer explanations in your workspace settings. Applicable privacy laws may provide additional rights.
